2. Treasurer’s Report: No report
Old Business:
1. Coupon Books: Sandra Clark reported there were 150 books ordered. Sales are going well. Let her know if you need more. For convenience, take your proceeds to Regions Bank. Contact information for Sandra is 379-9321.
2. Save the Fireworks Campaign: There has been $539.89 collected from the fireworks jars to date. Eric Downing made a motion to spend $4,000.00 for the fireworks this year, seconded by Sandra Clark, and the motion passed. A donation container will be passed during the entertainment for the fireworks.
3. Electrical Update: It was reported the Town has offered to pay for the electrical upgrades at the park. This should be completed soon. The water issues are also being addressed.
4. Town Signs: The “Welcome to Rossville” signs have all been installed, except on the west side. A location has not been chosen yet.
New Business:

2. Summer’s End Festival Update:
• Booth Rental—Freddie Rodkey reported the Food Court has been sold out. He stated the vendor booth spaces should probably be sold out in the next couple weeks. Freddie Rodkey made a motion to increase the booth space fee to $35.00 for 2011 festival, seconded by Dwayne Hoskins, and the motion passed. Sandra Clark inquired whether the Boy Scouts could possibly sell their leftover pop and cotton candy during Friday evening. It was suggested contacting the Presbyterian Church to possibly sell from the shelter house to avoid controversy.
• Car Show—Ann Hodson stated a DJ has been hired. Plans are going well. She currently has $2300.00 in sponsorships. The T-shirt design should be done next week. Door prizes are coming in. She is also getting her volunteers lined up.
• Little Miss/Mister—No report
• Queen Pageant—Misty Guyre reported she has three contestants. It is going well.
• Entertainment—Misty Guyre reported the entertainment schedule is set. She will need to have down payment checks. RBA will need to have a hospitality tent for performers this year. It was suggested contacting Treece’s or Subway for food donations. Pat McIlrath will supply two cookie trays.
• Parade—Zach Brown stated the plans for the parade are going well. The Boilermaker Special is still questionable.
• Advertising—The posters have been printed and are ready for distribution. Gretchen and Pat will soon be soliciting businesses to purchase advertising signage on the entertainment trailer. Gretchen will be placing news releases on radio stations and in newspapers.
• Information Booth—A sign-up sheet was circulated for the information booth.
• Church Services—The new pastor from the Pyrmont Brethren Church will be giving the message.
• Hornet Hustle—Dwayne Hoskins reported he needs sponsors for the run/walk. He currently has two. The route has been decided and will start at the Presbyterian Church.
• Parking—It was suggested having the Boy Scouts help with parking. Eric Downing made a motion to accept a free will donation to park within the park, seconded by Zach Brown, and the motion passed.
• Clean-up—Clean-up is scheduled for Sunday morning. Please come out and help!!!
• Other Business—A thank you was read from Wes Delks for his scholarship. The Clinton County Chamber is sponsoring a golf tournament. If interested, contact the Chamber. There is also an appreciation meal sponsored by the Chamber on July 29th, if interested contact the Chamber.
